Sorry for the slow postings

I just haven't been myself lately. We're going through so much it's been kind of hard on me. :o)
Cohen is doing great. Everything went really well on Thursday. He went in at 9:30 and came out an hour later. We were out of the hospital by 2:30. The site bled a little more than the last two times but nothing to worry about. He just slept the rest of the afternoon and was playing around by dinner. I love how he just gets back up and acts like a normal kid. It was really hard last month when he wasn't himself.
He was suppose to start the antibody therapy today (painful study drug) but the medicine was stored wrong so it went bad. Rather than staying at the hospital for no reason they sent him home and he will start tomorrow. It'll run for 4 days like always and he'll go home once he's recovered.
Thank you so much for all of your thoughts, prayers, and comments. We appreciate it.

I'm so glad to see an update! I'm glad the surgery went well. I know this is hard on all of you and please know that I think of you often.

Seriously, I don't know how you keep up and you shouldn't worry about apologizing for not being yourself. You guys have had more than your fair share to deal with and I think you are doing the best ever. I don't know how I would be handling it all either.
I am glad that he is doing better but at the same time I am sorry he is going to be back in for more med's. I will try to get up to visit you sometime this week.
You know I love you like a little sister!!!

Wiley family,

I was directed to your blog by another parent who has faced childhood cancer with his son.

Have you visited or considered joining the People Against Childhood Cancer community? We are a network of over 900 parents, friends, family, concerned citizens and childhood cancer organizations (CureSearch, Alex's Lemonade Stand and more) whose sole mission is to present a unified voice to raise awareness of childhood cancer. The website format is unique, you can have friends, post photos and videos, blog, participate in Forum discussions, start or join Groups that interest you, chat live with other members, and promote or learn about fundraisers. It's free, interactive and will continue to evolve.

While these features are nice, our focus is action to raise awareness of childhood cancer. One initiative is the Petition to Raise Awareness of Childhood Cancer . It has over 16,000 signatures and will be used to hopefully leverage a network TV special solely on childhood cancer or a similar high profile project. Other ideas and action items are presented daily in our ongoing effort to raise awareness.

The PAC2 is also a place to find support, get information and just feel you are not alone in this.
